Inspiring conversations about being a "Ray of Hope" in the world!

17
As a result of our Cycling for Peace journey in 2002 and our present-day RVing adventures, we have discovered that people crave engaging, encouraging discussions—especially when those conversations inspire hope in the midst of today’s chaotic circumstances.

We have realized how important it is to our collective wellbeing for everyone to be a “ray of hope” to their circle of family, friends and associates.  It literally radiates a ripple of energy of peace, love and joy out to our communities, then to our nations, then around the whole world.

A great deal of positive transformation is occurring even though it is not reported through mass media outlets, hence the purpose of this blog.

We have decided to create this blog in order to provide the opportunity for meaningful, constructive conversations and to build a supportive community online (and we’re open to off-line conversation, too) to explore how we each can be a “ray of hope” in the world, no matter what is happening.

It was such a great pleasure and privilege to get to meet you and hear the start of your Ray of Hope series. You are so right about being a Ray of Hope and it having an ever expanding effect. A friend of ours, John Derrick, roller bladed across Canada and America for Peace a number of years ago. His stories inspired us and when the crazy idea of riding his bike across the country occurred to Thomas we thought, hey of John could roller blade it Thomas could ride it on his bike. Now after doing it twice, over 11,000 miles all together, I have been astonished at how many people Thomas has inspired to do something they didn’t think they could do. A Unity YOU leader and supporter of Thomas’s Wil Allyn posted “I'm positive you have no idea how many people you and your family are encouraging....just the tip of the iceberg, don't stop!” I’m sure he is totally correct. Keep up your great work, you are an inspiration and our favorite Ray of Hope. Team Jessop Across America
